Dr. Derik DeConinck received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Kalamazoo College in 1991 and graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry with a D.D.S. degree in 1995. After completing a General Practice Residency at the North Chicago V.A. Medical Center, Dr. DeConinck returned to the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, completing the Endodontics residency program and earning a Certificate in Endodontics in 1998. In 2006, Dr. DeConinck became a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, the highest academic and professional recognition in the specialty of Endodontics. Dr. Derik DeConinck has served in organized dentistry as past president of the Macomb Dental Society, past president of the Michigan Association of Endodontists, and various committees within the American Association of Endodontists and Michigan Dental Association.
In October of 2022, Dr. DeConinck was inducted as a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an international honor dental organization that recognizes leadership in the profession. Since 1998, Dr. Derik DeConinck has practiced full-time with Michigan Endodontics, P.C., in both the Warren and Port Huron offices.
